Water Temp: 63-67 degrees
Lake Level: 358.08

This
week they stopped the draw down of the lake water. The lake
levels have stabalized. The water temps have warmed up along
with the weather. I have seen several bass on bed and in some
frey in shallow pockets. I am catching pre-spawn and post-spawn
bass. With the full moon coming this weekend there should be
a big wave of bass to empty the shallows and spawn. As long
as the cold front coming in on Friday does not drop the water
temperatures down into the 50s. Some of the more productive
baits have been square-billed crank baits, spinner baits, Carolina
rig creature baits, and jigs.
This
weekend is the USA Bassin Nitro Classic out of the Kentucky
Dam, the FLW BFL Event is on the Lake also this weekend on
the 16th.
Book
your guide trips today. Dates are filling up! Still have several
dates available for late spring and the summer.
