LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN .5 FEET, 86 DEGREES, CLEAR BY MATT BATY

Bass fishing is fair. The early morning top water bite is still fairly good along grass lines close to the river channel. The grass beds up from Jack's at the lower end of the Flint have been pretty good early and late. Fish a 3.5" Bite Bite Baits Top Toad over the grass mats. Rig the Top Toad on a 5/0 Gamakatsu Superline Hook. The frog bite is good during the early morning hours, and can sometimes be good all day. Lately for me however, it has only worked early. When the Sun comes up over the horizon, there are a couple of options you have. Flipping deep grass in Spring Creek is a pretty good way to catch a few more keepers in the heat of the day. The lower end of the creek is about the only place where there is descent matted hydrilla. Flip a 4" Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog in Vegas Sunset on a 1 oz. Tungsten weight. If flipping is not for you, then you can fish a small crank bait in these same areas. A Spro Little John MD is good for this technique. I like the Chrome Olive color. This bait is awesome because it is weighted perfectly and is able to cast long distances even on windy days. Make sure to use a glass cranking rod and Sunline 12 pound FC Sniper fluorocarbon.
