August 24, 2010

Canton: August 22. Elevation normal, water 85 and clear. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair drifting shad and slabs. Walleye fair drifting night crawlers and trolling deep running crankbaits. Channel catfish good on grasshoppers in the upper end of the lake. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

Ft. Supply: August 23. Elevation normal, water clear. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and stinkbait all over the lake in the evenings. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County .

Great Salt Plains: The fishery is recovering and anglers are catching walleye and channel catfish.
