November 5, 2008

Altus-Lugert: Nov. 2. Elevation 13 ft. below normal and rising slowly. Most fishing is improving. Catfish good to very good (in the lake). Bass have been biting around the rocks on minnows. Crappie fair to good. Walleye fair to good. Trout Season started November 1st. Report submitted by Sue Hokanson, Quartz Mountain State Park.

Ellsworth: Nov. 3. Elevation below normal and murky. Crappie fair to good at Ralph's Resort on minnows. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.

Foss: Nov. 4. Elevation 1/4 ft. below normal, water 60 and clear. Striped bass hybrids fair to good on slabs near buoy line in deep water. Catfish slow. Crappie fair around slips. Walleye slow. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.

Ft. Cobb: Nov. 3. Elevation 1/4 ft. above normal. Crappie slow to fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish slow to fair on cut baits. Report submitted by James Edwards Jr., game warden stationed in Caddo County.

Lawtonka: Nov. 3. Elevation below normal, water murky. All fishing slow. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.

Tom Steed: November 4. All fishing slow. Report submitted by David Smith, game warden stationed in Kiowa County.

Waurika: October 28. Elevation normal, water 67 and murky. Catfish good on juglines with cut shad. Report submitted by Phillip Cottrill, game warden stationed in Cotton County
