Fishing Report - January 2011

Enjoy these pictures of ice fishing this winter.  More to come as everything is lining up to be a Great ice fishing season.  Weather is perfect with sun shining, no wind, and no snow. All species, crappie, perch, walleye and northern are biting and just all of the lakes are giving up Fish.  I think these pictures tell the story.

Ice is about 10-12” but there are some lakes that have open spots and because there is no snow. The ice above dark bars maybe thinner. This early in the season we recommend using 4-wheelers but people are driving their trucks out.  I hope you can line up your family or your buddies and come out and give it a try.  In the meantime just check out the pictures and drewl…..
