West Virginia Fishing

Conaway Run Lake
Alma, West Virginia

September 31, 2009

This is a lake that contains alot of weed beds and wood banks anolg with on rock bank. during the early spring the best baits to use are pumpkinseed tubes and Gulp 5 inch Green Pumpkin shaky worms. In early morning and mid day you can find them on wood, and in the evenings you can catch some of the bigger fish in the lake on the weed beds. This pattern follows throughout the summer and in the fall I prefer to go to a green scum frog and throw across the shallow end of the lake. If you are looking for a fun lake to fish this would be one of them. If you would like any other info on this lake you can contact me
