Bass anglers fishing Lake Lanier in Georgia now have a new online multi-media interactive mapping system available from SeeTheLake.net. The web-based internet site allows anglers to look at over 800 miles of shoreline and islands, 7,000 45-second high quality digital video footage with updated GPS coordinates every second, 320,000 GPS waypoints, and has the ability to freeze frame on over 19 million HD video pictures. The HD video footage was taped and thousands of waypoints established when the lake level was 20-foot below conservation pool giving anglers a comprehensive view of what is under the water surface at conservation pool. “Anglers will not only be able to watch videos on their computers of locations they are planning on fishing and record GPS waypoints to direct them to it, but find locations, structure, and cover through the online program,” Lane McPherson, owner of SeeTheLake.net explained. The multi-media mapping system consists of nine individual areas of Lake Lanier or an angler can purchase the complete set of all nine areas covering the entire lake.
