WON BASS Miller High Life 2002 tour concludes at Lake Havasu



LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ. ‹ The final event of the South Region on the WON BASS Miller High Life
tour will conclude this weekend, Oct. 5-6, at Lake Havasu with more than 230 bass anglers on
hand to vie for cash and prizes, including the Pro top prize of a Ranger 518VX bass boat and
trailer with a Mercury 175 outboard, Lowrance electronics, MotorGuide trolling motor and
Trojan batteries ‹ worth more than $35,000. 

The final standings at Havasu also will determine the Pro and AAA qualifiers for the
Western Classic championships to be staged Nov. 5-6 on Clear Lake. Fishing has been exceptional
for smallmouth and largemouth bass in the past few weeks at Havasu and the tournament catch
is expected to continue that trend. Festivities get underway on Friday at the Ramada Inn in
Lake Havasu City with the partner pairings at 6 p.m.. The tournament competition will begin
at safe light on Saturday and Sunday at Windsor Beach State Park. Daily weigh-ins will be
held starting at 2 p.m., with the awards ceremonies at the Ramada Inn approximately 90 minutes
following the conclusion of the Sunday weigh-ins. Complete results of the Lake Havasu Invitational
and the final points standings for the WON BASS year will be available late Sunday evening on
