About the ProBass Networks links database |
Referrers:
The ProBass Networks links database will automatically keep track of incoming and outgoing referrers for sites listed. You will notice, rather than listing a direct url to each site as it appears in the database, each site is linked to an "out.php" script. This obviously counts outgoing referrers. The basic url structure is similar to this:
http://www.probass.net/links/out.php?ID=1
where "1" is the ID value of the listed site.
Incoming referrers are counted the exact same way, except the name of the counting script is "in.php." Sites listed are encouraged to link back to the ProBass website in the confirmation email recieved upon site validation. The same basic structure follows:
http://www.probass.net/links/in.php?ID=1
What's New:
This section of the ProBass links database is
obviously a listing of the newest added sites, ordered from newest
to oldest. New sites will bump old sites further down the list
as expected.
What's Cool:
This section of the ProBass links database is a listing of sites
who send the most incoming traffic via the in.php script as
explained above.
What's Popular:
This section of the ProBass links database is a listing of sites
who recieve the most outgoing traffic via the out.php script as
explained above.
